North Melbourne forward Lindsay Thomas has been handed a one-match suspension by the VFL MRP for his elbow on Northern Blues and Carlton forward Rhys Palmer.
Late in the second quarter of Saturday's clash with the Blues, Thomas picked up the ball and attempted to fend off Palmer, but collecting the former GWS Giant in the head with his elbow.

Thomas would be risking a two-match ban if he decides to contest the charge.
The suspension will see Thomas miss Werribee's clash with Footscray on Saturday, and he will also be unavailable for North Melbourne's game against the Western Bulldogs on Saturday night.
The 29-year-old hasnโt played AFL football since round five after he was dropped following a string of poor performances.
