North Melbourne defender Jackson Archer has put pen to paper on a new extension, keeping him at the club until the end of 2026.
Archer - who has been tasked with some of the game's best small forwards - was taken with Pick 59 as a father-son selection in the 2021 National Draft.
Jackson is the son of club legend Glenn, who played 311 games and was a two-time premiership player.

In his first two years at Arden Street, Archer was limited to three and five games respectively due to several injuries.
However, 2024 has been a breakout year for the 21-year-old, featuring in 11 games and taking down the likes of Liam Ryan and Bayley Fritsch.
Archer kept the pair goalless in Round 13 and 15 while also lining up on Bobby Hill and Cody Weightman.
Kangaroos Head of Football Talent Brady Rawlings was stoked that the son-of-a-gun re-signed.
"We're rapt to add Jackson to the growing list of players to recommit to the club this year,"ย Rawlings said.
"He has great determination and an uncompromising attack on the footy, and he's proving to be a tough opponent at senior level.
"We look forward to watching him continue his development at Arden Street over the next couple of years."
Archer joins the likes of Harry Sheezel, Cameron Zurhaar, Tristan Xerri, Charlie Comben, Tom Powell, Brayden George, Eddie Ford and Kallan Dawson who have re-committed to the club long-term.
North Melbourne enter the last month of the season in 17th position and with two victories.
