Sydney Swans superstar Lance Franklin has put pen to paper with the Sydney Swans for 2023.
Franklin's future had been a point of much speculation after contract talks between the Swans and the 34-year-old stalled.
As his extraordinary nine-year contract with the Swans drew to a close he had begun to be been linked with a potential move to Brisbane or even a fairytale reunion with new North Melbourne coach Alastair Clarkson.

It took just a two word statement released via the Swan's Twitter to send the footy world into frenzy just five days out from the Grand Final.
This weekend's season decider will be Franklin's third with the Swans and his sixth overall during his incredible career.
Franklin has kicked 52 goals in his 18th campaign, he also kicked his 1000th career goal in Round 2 of this season against this Saturday's opposition, Geelong.
In the simple message released on Monday night Franklin and the Swans confirmed Franklin had "one more" left in him.
