Collingwood defender Tom Langdon appears to be in demand after playing a starring role in Saturday's Grand Final loss to West Coast.
Langdon had 23 disposals and took seven marks and was probably the best player on the ground in the first half.
Speaking on NAB AFL Trade Radio on Monday, reporter Sam McClure says the out-of contract Magpie may have increased his value during that game.
"If you’re holding out for a bigger contract he would have walked into the rooms at the MCG at half-time with another $100,000 on his contract," McClure said.
"He was the best player on the ground."
Co-host Nick Dal Santo says Langdon's performance shows why Collingwood must secure his name before a club comes in with a big offer.
"He (Langdon) was superb," Dal Santo said.
"The Pies need to keep Langdon.
"When you look at what they need, their backline needs a little bit of stabilising.
"If you’re the Pies, I would have thought Langdon is one of your main priorities to stabilise that and maybe try and bring in some support for him."
The Herald Sun's Sam Edmund understands the Dockers are interested in Langdon, and could be offering him between $500-600,000 a season to lure him to WA.
"You know he has a brother that he has a brother that plays football for Fremantle," Edmund told SEN Breakfast on Tuesday.
"There's been... whispers... that the Dockers might be into Langdon of the Collingwood variety.
"Maybe 500 or 600 a year, is the rumoured figure there from the Dockers. So, a sizable wedge."
Langdon has played 80 games for Collingwood since being taken at pick 65 in the 2013 draft.
