Melbourne superstar Christian Petracca is confident a last second injury concern from his side's win over Hawthorn won't hinder his chances of playing against Port Adelaide in Round 10.
The Demons' bull was seen in pain on the MCG turf at the final siren on Saturday, with club medical staff assessing the complaint before Petracca limped across the ground and into the rooms.
The injury came in the final moments of the nine-goal win, sparking concerns within the red and blue camp ahead of a crucial upcoming month for the currently top-placed Demons.
Petracca was able to dispel any concerns surrounding the ankle injury after the match however, believing he'll be fit in time to play the Power on Friday night.
"Nah I'm all good," Petracca told Fox Footyย after the win.
"I just got caught in a tackle there with Sicily when I handballed to (Fritsch). I'll be right."

Petracca wasn't the only Demon that failed to come away from the game unscathed, with defender-turned-forward Harrison Petty subbed out of the contest with a foot injury.
Petty sustained the injury in the opening quarter and managed to play out the remainder of the first half for a return of two goals, before the club pulled the trigger on their tactical sub.
The decision to bring James Jordon into the game in place of Petty was a "precautionary" measure, according to coach Simon Goodwin, who is hopeful his developing swingman will be fit for Round 10.
"He's pretty good. He's got a bruised foot. We'll get it looked at, just from a precautionary perspective," Goodwin said after the win.
"It wasn't anything we needed to take a risk with. We'll just assess that and see where he sits tomorrow."
Young forward Jacob van Rooyen stood tall in Petty's absence to boot his 12th goal for the season, managing to put a lengthy AFL Tribunal and Appeal Board process behind after being cleared to face the Hawks.
Goodwin expressed his delight in how van Rooyen approached the game and held his own in the convincing win.
"It was a brilliant opportunity for him. He's a 20-year-old lad that went through an enormous week," Goodwin said.
"Whether he was going to play or not, we spoke to him about his ability to be able to deal with that, and also if he got through that his ability to be able to come out and perform.
"He only kicked one (goal) on the scoreboard but he had five or six marks, 14 touches and competed really strongly all day.
"With Petty going off the ground, he gave us a really great aerial contest ahead of the ball."
The Demons will travel to South Australia next week to face Port Adelaide at Adelaide Oval on Friday night.
