The Brisbane Lions have been fined for an administrative error that resulted in breaching the League's Total Player Payment lodgment rules.
The AFL has fined Brisbane $10,000, half of which has been suspended until October 2018.
The Lions cooperated with all investigations and implemented improved procedures to stop any such breaches from occurring again.
Brisbane currently hold the No.1 draft pick after finishing on the bottom of the ladder with five wins. The Lions finished 17th in 2016, with three wins and 17th in 2015 with four wins.
