The National Draft is almost here, with all 18 AFL clubs now having a strong idea of the prospects on offer and the spots where they may fall.

Every club has their own list needs and voids to fill, some looking toward key position talent while others are hoping to add to their midfield.

The 'best available' avenue is open to every club, but many instead look to find answers to some of their biggest list questions through the draft.

Here we look at the ideal prospect for every club when they enter the draft in what would be a dream scenario for most clubs.

13. Port Adelaide

Lewis Hayes

Position: Tall Defender
State: Victoria Metro
State League Club: Eastern Ranges
Community Club: South Belgrave
Date of Birth: 17/12/04
Height: 199cm
Weight: 82kg

It'd take some luck for Hayes to slide all the way to Pick 33 for Port Adelaide, with the Easter Ranges prospect a chance to land among the final five or so selections in the first round.

The Power have flagged their desire to add height to their defence, and with Hayes will be getting a promising near-two-metre tall prospect who can intercept and do damage with ball in hand.

Oakleigh Chargers high-flyer Josh Weddle will be another defensive option for the Power to consider when they first come on the clock.
