The National Draft is almost here, with all 18 AFL clubs now having a strong idea of the prospects on offer and the spots where they may fall.
Every club has their own list needs and voids to fill, some looking toward key position talent while others are hoping to add to their midfield.
The 'best available' avenue is open to every club, but many instead look to find answers to some of their biggest list questions through the draft.
Here we look at the ideal prospect for every club when they enter the draft in what would be a dream scenario for most clubs.
17. West Coast
Ed Allanย
Position: Utility
State: Western Australia
State League Club: Claremont
Community Club: Mosman Park
Date of Birth: 26/05/04
Height: 194cm
Weight: 83kg
Looking away from the 'best player available' option the Eagles are set to consider, local prospect Ed Allan is a player that can fill a number of roles for Adam Simpson as West Coast look to plan how their squad takes shape for the future.
The Eagles are set to add to their engine room, while a ruck is sure to be on their wish list, however what Allan can offer is flexibility, playing on the wing to help the midfield or move forward as an attacking target while the likes of Oscar Allen or Bailey Williams move into the middle to help with the ruck workload.
Allan is more likely to be a pickup for the Eagles with their second selection at Pick 12.
