A beloved Brisbane Lion has been sighted swapping codes following the football season's official winding down.
Ruckman Oscar McInerney, affectionately referred to as 'Big O', was sighted on the weekend plying his cricketing trade.
McInerney suited up for Croydon Ranges, an amateur club that plays in the Ringwood District Cricket Association, showcasing his 'talents' with a different kind of ball in his hand.

The Victorian native, who played his earlier football for the Casey Scorpions, has played all seven seasons of his AFL career in Brisbane since being snapped up by the Lions at the 2016 Rookie Draft.
The 29-year-old played in Brisbane's Grand Final loss to Collingwood at the MCG in September, managing an impressive ten clearances, four tackles, and 28 hit-outs in the Lions' gallant losing effort.
McInerney, his Brisbane teammates, as well as most of the rest of the competition's players, have taken leave from their clubs as the off-season officially kicks into gear.
This year's free agency and trade period has come and gone, with McInerney's Lions adding ex-Crow Tom Doedee as a free agent and short-time Hawk Brandon Ryan in an exchange that included offloading veteran Jack Gunston to his former club.
Delisted free agency, beginning on Wednesday, November 1, and November's National Draft, which commences November 20, are all that remain before the 2024 pre-season period begins to ramp up.
