Collingwood have suffered another blow on the injury front with 20-year-old ruckman Oscar Steene leaving the field at IKON Park with a foot concern.

The 201cm youngster was playing his first match for the season after passing concussion protocols from a head knock during the preseason.

He was cleared to play in Collingwood's VFL clash with Carlton but now may be sidelined further, pending a diagnosis on his foot.

The club is set to provide an update during the week.

The injury adds to a growing list of casualties at Collingwood during the bye round for the senior side.
