Fremantle coach Ross Lyon says that the Dockers are almost certain to delist Harley Bennell after he suffered another serious injury.
The former-Sun injured his calf playing in the WAFL on June 22nd as he made a bid to senior selection.
It was Bennell's fourth game in the reserves as he was making good progress prior to going down.
Lyon hopes that another AFL club will take a punt on the 26-year-old who in past years has shown why he deserves to be at this level.
Since coming across from the Suns, Bennell has only played two games for the Dockers in four seasons.
He was part of the Gold Coast's inaugural side when he debuted in round 2 2011.
Bennell played 81 games for the Suns in five seasons as his off-field antics resulted in him being dropped from the senior side and ultimately saw him off to another club.
He's kicked 95 goals from his 83 AFL matches with an average of 22 touches per game.
