Collingwood football boss Graham Wright has spoken on how the club will look to make a decision on the future of Magpies coach Nathan Buckley.
Wright was appointed as the general manager of football at the Holden Centre in January after an illustrious tenure with Hawthorn during the club's span of four premierships between 2008 and 2015.
Collingwood also announced the appointment of Mark Korda as president earlier this week, two months after the resignation of Eddie McGuire.

The Magpies have endured a tough past 12 months, stemming back to their heavily-criticised trade period that saw several key players depart in exchange for little gain.
The club was also under duress following the release of theย "Do Better" report, which subsequently led to McGuire's decision to step aside from his duties with the Magpies.
Collingwood have gotten off to a slow start on the field following a 1-4 start to the season, with many questions raised over the future of Buckley.
The Collingwood coach is currently off-contract and faces an uphill battle to retain his post at the helm of the Magpies.
Many had believed Buckley's fate rested in the hands of Wright, a concept that puzzled the newly-appointed footy boss.
Speaking onย SEN,ย Wright revealed Korda and Collingwood chief executive Mark Anderson would collectively work with Buckley in making a call on the senior coach's future at the club.
โI was as surprised as anyone else that it was thrown up that I was going to be the one making the decision (about Nathan Buckleyโs future),โ Wright said on SEN.
โI donโt think itโll be that, itโll be a group of people involved. Nathan is an experienced coach, an outstanding coach and been a successful coach so Iโm really comfortable with where that sits.
โMark (Korda) has just come on board as the new president, but we also have (CEO) Mark Anderson who has been there a fair while so I wouldโve thought everyone, including Nathan, will have a say in that decision.
โI feel comfortable that thereโs a great group of people there making the decisions.
โWe havenโt even sat down yet and gone through (things yet), it was really clear when I started in February that the week after I started, that Bucks, Mark (Anderson) and I had a conversation where he said he wanted to wait (on making a decision) and thought it was the right thing and we havenโt had a conversation since then.
โI know whatโs going on and understand itโs big news from that perspective, but from our point of view weโre preparing week to week to win games and at this stage we havenโt won too many so we have our hands full with that.โ
The Magpies will be looking to claim their second victory of the season when they face Essendon on Sunday for the traditional ANZAC Day showcase match.
Collingwood have already confirmed Jay Rantall will make his debut in the match, with Jordan De Goey (concussion), Jeremy Howe (hamstring), Mark Keane (suspension) and Levi Greenwood (concussion) all set to miss.
