Collingwood have confirmed midfielder Jordan De Goey won't feature in the club's clash with GWS on Sunday after being granted personal leave.
The Magpies revealed on Wednesday evening that the 26-year-old will be away from training this week, with no return date listed.
"The Collingwood Football Club advises player Jordan De Goey has been granted personal leave by the Club and will not take part in the Round 15 match against the GWS GIANTS to be played on Sunday, June 26," the statement reads.
"Jordan has been absent from training this week and the Club will continue to support him on his return to the football program."
On Tuesday Collingwood handed De Goey a suspended $25,000 that will be in place for the remainder of the club's 2022 campaign.
The sanction followed recent instances involving De Goey during a mid-season trip overseas, with the midfielder having since apologised for his behaviour.
De Goey is set to undergo a counselling program following the indiscretion.
Should De Goey be able to return to Craig McRae's selection planning next week, he could be in line to return against the Gold Coast Suns next Saturday night.
