North Melbourne defender Majak Daw has received a massive boost in his bid to make a remarkable return to football, with his pectoral muscle injury not requiring surgery.
Surgery would have all-but ended Daw's season, with the recovery period usually taking at least four months.
However, the 29-year old is aiming to return in less than three weeks.
North Melbourne posted a video of the 29 year-old working in the gym at Arden Street.
โGood news for Majak Daw. He will not require surgery on his torn pectoral muscle, the Kangaroos tweeted.
โMaj is back at the club to start his recovery today, and weโll have an interview available a little later.โ
