Four clubs are moving on into week two of the 2023 AFL Finals with wins to start September, while a further two have fallen out of the race and the remaining sides will look to bounce back through a home semi-final.
Collingwood kicked off the post-season with a thrilling win over Melbourne in front of 92,000 fans, with Craig Mcrae's men advancing to a home preliminary final in a fortnight's time.
They'll now face the winner of next week's semi-final meeting between GWS and Port Adelaide following Saturday's events.
That match will take place on Saturday at Adelaide Oval, with the Power looking to bounce back from their 48-point defeat to the Lions when they return to their home state.
The Giants notched up a memorable elimination final win over St Kilda to the tune of four goals earlier on Saturday to keep their inspiring campaign under Adam Kingsley alive.
On the other side of the finals bracket, Melbourne will host Carlton at the MCG in a semi-final scheduled for Friday night.
The pair met in Round 22 at the same venue, where Carlton recorded a four-point win through a controversial conclusion to the tight contest.
The Blues will be looking to harness the momentum they conjured in Friday's one-goal elimination final win over Sydney when they meet Melbourne, with both clubs set to make multiple changes for the semi-final.
Carlton will be without star forward Harry McKay, who has entered the AFL's concussion protocols, while Jack Martin has been offered a two-game suspension. Carlton will make a call on whether they'll challenge the charge by 11:00am Monday.
For Melbourne, Angus Brayshaw is also set to miss after suffering a concussion early into his side's loss to Collingwood, while Jacob van Rooyen has been handed a one-game suspension.
Both the Demons and Blues could head to the Tribunal for their respective cases along with Collingwood in the coming days, who are set to plead Brayden Maynard's case for his hit on Brayshaw.
GWS managed to get through their elimination final unscathed and could even regain former captain Stephen Coniglio, who was a late withdrawal from the victory over St Kilda due to an eye injury.
For Port Adelaide, they'll sweat on a hamstring injury to Dylan Williams that will likely sideline the young forward for next week's meeting with the Giants, while Trent McKenzie will undergo some assessment after hurting his knee in Saturday's loss to the Lions.
The Power's meeting with GWS will take place at 7:10pm local time on the Saturday night.
