Essendon legend Matthew Lloyd has named the seven players he believes are the best set shots in the competition right now.
With goal kicking accuracy down in 2021, hovering around 46%, we have seen plenty of bad kicking and missed shots. But Lloyd, who kicked 926 goals himself, has said that these players stand out from the rest while speaking onย Sportsday.
2. Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti (Essendon)
Essendon fan-favourite Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti is the No.1 ranked player in the league at the moment for goalkicking accuracy, kicking an impressive 18.4 since Round 6.
The 2020 club leading goalkicker had an inconsistent debut season, kicking 8.9, but has gone on to boot 146.69. Including this brilliant effort in 2017:

McDonald-Tipungwuti is the goal kicking envy of the league at the moment and Lloyd agrees: "Heโs ranked No.1 in the competition for accuracy. Heโs a beautiful kick."
