Essendon legend Matthew Lloyd has named the seven players he believes are the best set shots in the competition right now.
With goal kicking accuracy down in 2021, hovering around 46%, we have seen plenty of bad kicking and missed shots. But Lloyd, who kicked 926 goals himself, has said that these players stand out from the rest while speaking onย Sportsday.
1. Taylor Walker (Adelaide)
The second Crow on the list, veteran forward Walker has wound back the clock in 2021 to turn in some vintage performances. Walker may not be ranked No.1 for accuracy, but he has already kicked 36 goals from just 11 games this season.
Revealing his No.1, Lloyd didn't have much to say: "Had a bad day on the weekend but I still think heโs the purest kick in the comp."
