Essendon champion Matthew Lloyd has revealed his top five finals performers.

Speaking onย AFL.com.au,ย Lloyd explained that the players who stood up on the big September stage should be regarded as the all-time greats.

Lloyd said: "Norm Smith medallist in 2008 and 2014, he's part of four premierships and was sensational in all of them. Never loses his feet, he's tough, he makes you feel at ease as a teammate. Beautifully skilled - I'll never forget his big goal against the West Coast Eagles (in the 2015 Grand Final). Pretty much it was game over from that period of time. He just made moments happen for his team like no other player could."
