Essendon champion Matthew Lloyd has revealed the best five kicks inside 50 he's seen.
One of the hardest kicks to pull off, the entry pass inside the arc is as important as its ever been with teams now flooding their defensive 50.
Speaking on AFL.com.au, Lloyd explained that the kick inside 50 is the toughest to execute in football.
"Some players make you better, and tell you where to lead, and others you just drop your head hoping for the best when they have the football. There is a real art to it, you've got to weight the ball, you've got to place it," he said.
Lloyd counted down from 5-1...
4. Michael Long
Lloyd said: "Michael actually kicked the ball to me when I kicked the 100th goal against North Melbourne. That kick sums up why he's such a great kick inside 50. Some players want to blast the ball at you, but Michael had this ability to deliver it in front of you. It's about kicking it to where you're going to end up."
