Former Tigers great Matthew Richardson has re-drafted the top 10 picks of the 2000 AFL Draft on Sportsday.
It comes after Kane Cornes re-drafted the first five picks of the 2000 AFL Draft on Wednesday on SEN’s Footy SA.
Topping Richo's re-draft is the original No. 1 pick - ex-Saints star Nick Riewoldt, who he declared is "an automatic Hall of Famer."
“I don’t think you can argue that Nick stays at number 1," Richardson said on Sportsday.
"He’s an automatic Hall of Famer as soon as he becomes eligible.”
Richardson took Hawthorn champion Shaun Burgoyne with pick 2 but admitted he considered taking the four-time premiership star at number one.
“377 games, Al-Australian, four premierships. I considered him at number 1 for a millisecond. Burgoyne was as close as anyone to Nick.”
West Coast's Daniel Kerr, Collingwood's Alan Didak and North Melbourne's Drew Petrie rounded out Richardson's first five picks.
He took two-time premiership ruckman Darren Jolly with pick 7 despite the big man getting picked up in the rookie draft.
