Magpies defender Brayden Maynard can accept a two-game ban after being charged for Striking Giant Daniel Lloyd during the AAMI Community Series clash between Collingwood and Greater Western Sydney.

Maynard's late attempt in a marking contest involving Lloyd saw the Giants forward require medical attention after a collision between the pair left the latter dazed on the turf.

Maynard was reported for the incident, with the Match Review Officer deeming the act as Careless Conduct, High Impact and High Contact, with Maynard able to accept a two-week suspension with an early guilty plea.

Fellow Magpie Nathan Kreuger can also accept a suspension by the MRO, with a hit on Callan Ward warranting a one-game ban after being charged with Engaging in Rough Conduct.

Kreuger's collision with Ward was graded as Careless Conduct, Medium Impact and High Contact, with the Collingwood recruit having his day curtailed after suffering a head knock in the fallout of the collision.

Giants ruckman Braydon Preuss can also accept a one-game ban for a Dangerous Tackle on Magpie Brodie Grundy during the match, with the MRO deeming the Rough Conduct charge as Careless Conduct, Medium Impact and High Contact.

Eagle Alex Witherden can also accept a one-week suspension after being charged for Engaging in Rough Conduct against Fremantle star Andrew Brayshaw.

The MRO have adjudged the incident in question as Careless Conduct, Medium Impact and High Contact, with Witherden able to accept a one-game suspension.

Docker Michael Walters ($2000, Engaging in Rough Conduct), Giant Stephen Coniglio ($1000, Tripping) and Greater Western Sydney youngster Tanner Bruhn ($2000, Forceful Front-On Contact) have all been sanctioned for separate incidents.
