After the 2019 Grand Final, Richmond star Dustin Martin left his car at the MCG underground carpark for two months. Now, that length has been triumphed.
After five months away from Melbourne due to moving away to Queensland for hub life as part of the 2020 AFL season, Melbourne's Jayden Hunt has finally collected his car from the MCG carpark.
After Melbourne's Round 5 clash with Richmond at the MCG in July, the Demons were ordered to pack up and head to Queensland immediately after the game, which forced Hunt and a number of others to leave their cars at the ground.
Hunt only returned to Melbourne this week and was the last remaining Victorian to retrieve his car from the MCG, and took to Instagram to share with the public the feeling of getting his Subaru back.
โAbout to start my car thatโs been under the MCG for five months,โ Hunt wrote on his Instagram story.
"Will it start?"

Hunt also included a yes-no poll to the question, โWill it start?โ, on his story.
Thankfully for Hunt, the good news was that the car eventually started.
โWell, it wasnโt easy but the old gal pulls through,โ he wrote in another post.
