The Demons showed today that no matter who you support or which team you play for, some things are bigger than footy, with a touching banner for Jarryd Roughead.

"You don't need to wear red and blue to be in our hearts. Good luck, Roughy," the banner read.

It's the latest show of support from the footy community, who have thrown their arms around the four-time Hawthorn premiership star, as he prepares to undergo 12 months of immunotherapy after being diagnosed with a recurrence of melanoma.
