Delisted St Kilda utility Isaac Keeler has been spotted doing a running session with a group of Port Adelaide players as he presses his case for an AFL lifeline.

Keeler is a South Australian native and has returned to his homeland after spending four seasons at the Saints. The 22-year-old played 13 games for St Kilda, kicking 11 goals.

Port Adelaide confirmed it had spoken to the mobile 198cm Keeler following his departure from the Saints.

“We've had some conversations with Isaac and his management group,” Power list boss Jason Cripps said on SEN earlier this month.

“He's been delisted by St Kilda, but there's a new rule around the Category B Rookie spot. We're investigating that further and what that may look like with Isaac.

“That spot is around an Indigenous player in that list spot.”

On Monday morning, Seven News said that Keeler had been training with a group of Power players at their home base as they look to get a jump on their pre-season fitness.

During his time at the Saints, Keeler was seen as a development player who, while talented, needed to work on his overall fitness to impact at a greater level in the AFL.

Keeler played 11 games in 2025, but fell out of favour this year featuring only twice before he was cut from the Saints' roster.

Port Adelaide is in the midst of a rebuild and has been one of the busiest clubs during the off-season.

The Power sent superstar Zak Butters to the Western Bulldogs, while acquiring four top 24 picks and early selections in next year's draft.

Keeler will be pushing for a train-on spot at Port Adelaide with the prospect of a forward-ruck role looming.
