North Melbourne have confirmed Mid-Season Draft addition Brynn Teakle will make his Kangaroos debut on Sunday against Collingwood.
Teakle joined the Roos from East Fremantle as the 15th overall selection in last month's intake and made his VFL debut in the blue and white over the weekend against Coburg.
The ruck-forward kicked one goal from his 13 disposals and four marks to impress his new teammates and coaches, with Alastair Clarkson promoting the Western Australian to the club's senior side for Round 14.
Teakle will come up against the club he trained with over the summer in Collingwood, with the Magpies trialling the 24-year-old as a potential Supplemental Selection Period acquisition.
After falling short of a list spot with the reigning premiers, Teakle returned to his old club East Fremantle in the WAFL, where he rekindled his dominant state league level form to get back on the radar of AFL clubs.
The Kangaroos are Teakle's second club, having been drafted to Port Adelaide midway through the 2022 season out of the Sharks.
The 203cm key position talent played six games over 18 months with the Power before being delisted by the South Australian club at the end of last year.
Teakle was named as one of four potential inclusions for Clarkson's side, with Riley Hardeman, Will Phillips and Charlie Lazzaro also named on the Roos' extended bench.
Jaidyn Stephenson, Liam Shiels, Jackson Archer and Eddie Ford have also been named on the eight-man bench, which will be halved at 5:00pm (AEST) on Friday.
First-year defender Wil Dawson is the only listed out so far for North Melbourne after suffering a high-grade AC joint injury in last week's win over West Coast.
North Melbourne host Collingwood at Marvel Stadium on Sunday at 1:00pm.
