GWS midfielder Stephen Coniglio has "officially" been ruled out of Saturday's contest against Gold Coast with a shoulder injury.
Coniglio was subbed out a three-quarter time against Richmond after managing soreness in his left shoulder.
The Giants vice-captain hurt the same shoulder in the Round 11 clash with Geelong and missed three matches.
Coniglio wasn't sent for scans following Sunday's victory but will be given the week off to recover after failing to get through Thursday's main training session, per reporter Daniel Garb.
Coniglio has been officially ruled out now. Sam Taylor was involved in main training and is pushing hard to play but theyโll hold him back another week. https://t.co/elm545l3UP

"I don't think he'll play this week. It'll be a week by week thing, his shoulder's still a bit sore," Daniels said ahead of his 100th game, according to AFL Media.
"We're hopeful we'll get him back in the next couple weeks, but we're not really sure."
However, the news is more positive for All-Australian defender Sam Taylor, who is recovering from a ruptured testicle.
Taylor has been sidelined with the injury since Round 14 but was seen pressing his claim for a recall.
The Giants will host the Suns at Engie Stadium on Saturday with teams coming out Thursday, 6:20 pm AEST.
More to come.
