Adelaide ball magnet Rory Laird will enter the 2023 AFL season as the highest-priced player in SuperCoach, being the only player to be worth more than $700,000 for Round 1.

After recording just two scores below 100 and averaging 127.8 points per game last year Laird enters the new season as the highest-valued option for SuperCoach players.

The Crows onballer has been priced at $703,900 for 2023, coming in at No.1 in the entire league ahead of fellow midfielders Clayton Oliver ($699,800), Lachie Neale ($676,200) and Touk Miller ($662,400).

St Kilda defender Jack Sinclair leads the way for defenders at $626,200, with Hawk James Sicily ($624,700) and Cat Tom Stewart ($604,00) narrowly trailing the Saints' half-back flanker.

New Brisbane recruit Josh Dunkley, who is again a dual-position player with both midfield and forward status for 2023, is the priciest forward at $596,400.

GWS captain Stephen Coniglio ($557,700) and Swans star Isaac Heeney ($557,100) are also on the podium as the most valued forwards, with Coniglio joining Dunkley as also having midfield status.

Melbourne skipper Max Gawn is again priced above the rest of his ruck counterparts, coming in at $622,100.

Gold Coast tall Jarrod Witts ($605,100) and Western Bulldog gun Tim English ($581,100) round out the top three for ruckmen.

Gawn's new partner and popular SuperCoach option Brodie Grundy is the 10th most expensive ruck option at $512,900, while Cats utility Mark Blicavs () stunning has both midfield and ruck status for 2023.

2022 National Draft No.1 pick Aaron Cadman leads the rookie pricing at $207,300, while Brisbane father-son gun Will Ashcroft is the only other draftee to surpass the $200,000 mark at $202,800.
