GWS Giants defender Lachie Whitfield and St Kilda youngster Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera have learned their MRO fate after separate incidents over the weekend.
Whitfield has been sanctioned with a one-game ban after his slinging tackle on Fremantle's Jordan Clark was adjudged to be careless conduct with high contact and medium impact by Michael Christian. He is set to miss GWS' Round 16 match against Melbourne in the Northern Territory.
The outside runner's tackle was adjudicated a dangerous tackle by the officiating umpire on Saturday afternoon.

Pertaining to Wanganeen-Milera, who collected Richmond's Daniel Rioli high with an errant elbow during the final quarter of Saturday night's action at the MCG, the second-year utility has escaped with a $3,000 fine after his hit was deemed careless with low impact and high contact, as opposed to the minimum medium impact that would have resulted in a one-game ban.
Wanganeen-Milera's elbowing action was likened to Swan Sam Wicks' on Friday night which was punished with a two-match suspension, however, the contact made in the Saint's case didn't appear as damning as Wicks'.
