Three players from Wednesday night's clash between Richmond and Melbourne have been handed fines by Match Review Officer Michael Christian, including Tigers forward Jack Riewoldt for his 'chicken wing' tackle on Bailey Fritsch.

Riewoldt can accept a $1,000 fine, with the MRO deeming the tackle as misconduct.

Fellow Tiger Toby Nankervis can also accept a $2,000 fine for striking Demons defender Tom McDonald in the second quarter of Richmond's 43-point win.

Nankervis' hit was determined by the MRO as careless conduct, low impact and high contact.

Melbourne's Jake Melksham can accept a $1,500 fine for pushing Richmond's Josh Caddy into the path of the umpire.

The incident involving the Demons forward was categorised as misconduct by the MRO.
