The Match Review Officer has suspended two players following Saturday's action.

Port Adelaide's Tom Jonas can accept a one-game suspension after being charged with rough conduct for an incident involving West Coast's Jai Culley.

The second-quarter incident saw Jonas collide with Culley and the pair clash heads, with the MRO viewing Jonas' actions as Careless Conduct, Medium Impact and High Contact.

The penalty, which Jonas can challenge, will mean the Power captain will be unavailable for his side's upcoming contest against St Kilda.

GWS veteran Callan Ward has accepted a one-game ban for his tackle on Brisbane's Lachie Neale, which the MRO viewed as Careless Conduct, Medium Impact and High Contact.

The charge will mean Ward is unavailable for his side's upcoming match with Sydney in Round 7.

Geelong's Mitch Duncan has avoided a charge following an incident that involved Sydney's Robbie Fox in Saturday night's game.

The MRO offered an explanation for his decision to not charge Duncan following an assessment of the incident.

"The incident involving Geelong Cats' Mitch Duncan and Sydney Swans' Robbie Fox from the third quarter of Saturday night's match was assessed," an MRO statement read.

"Geelong Cats' Isaac Smith handballs towards Duncan who tracks the loose ball at speed. Fox approaches from the opposite direction and attempts to knock the ball forward. In doing so, Fox runs past the ball and lowers his body position before contact is made with Duncan.

"It is the view of the MRO that Duncan's actions were not unreasonable in the circumstances. No further action was taken."

Having avoided a charge, Duncan will be free to face Essendon at the MCG next Sunday.
