Three Western Bulldogs have had their pre-season programs interrupted, with each of Jack Macrae, Bailey Williams and first-year Pup Jordan Croft all battling respective injury concerns.
Currently in camp on the Sunshine Coast, Macrae is set to spend time on the sidelines, with Josh Gabelich of AFL Media reporting the 29-year-old had sustained a low-grade hamstring concern.
A return to training date for the premiership-winner is yet to be determined.
Elsewhere, Williams is set to join Macrae on the sidelines after entering concussion protocols.
Again, how long the defender will spend out of action is yet to be announced by the club, but with Williams playing 68 of a possible 72 of the Bulldogs' last outings, the 26-year-old has become an integral member of Luke Beveridge's senior side.
Croft, a recent father-son selection, sat out the Bulldogs' intra-club hitout at Maroochydore Sports Complex after being laid low with shin splints.
The son of former Dogs defender Matthew Croft made his way to the Kennel after being selected with the 15th pick of the 2023 AFL Draft.
The Western Bulldogs are set to do battle against Hawthorn at the Whitten Oval on Friday, February 23 and then again at University of Tasmania Stadium on Saturday, March 2.
Beveridge's boy will start their season proper when facing Melbourne at the MCG in Round 1 on Sunday, March 17.
