Victorian clubs are reportedly circling contracted Port Adelaide utility Miles Bergman, potentially looking to pry the 20-year-old back to his home state.
Bergman joined the Power as the 14th overall selection in the 2019 National Draft - the Power's opening pick of that year.
The Hampton Rovers product will play his 31st game for the South Australian side on Saturday night when the Power welcome Richmond to Adelaide Oval, with Bergman having held his spot in Ken Hinkley's side since Round 16.
Bergman is averaging 16.71 disposals, 2.43 tackles and 2.29 inside 50s from seven matches this year, showing an ability to play across all three lines of the field as a versatile asset for his side.
His services could be of great use for several keen suitors, with clubs from the east understood to be showing interest in Bergman.
According to SEN SA reporter Michaelangelo Rucci, multiple Victorian clubs are anticipated to move for Bergman this off-season.
“We know there’s going to be an enormous trade market, but it’s not just going to be players falling out of contract,” Rucci said on The Run Home.
“Miles Bergman is under contract until 2023, the end of next season. But he has - what I’ve been told - fair interest from a few Victorian clubs to lure him back to Melbourne.
“He was a first-round draft pick, number 14 for Port Adelaide in 2019, has a Rising Star nomination last year and had a difficult past 12 months with COVID.
“If he gets tempted to move, Port are going to have some interesting talks with clubs about what they want back."
Bergman is currently contracted at Alberton until the end of next year, having last re-signed with the Power in his debut season of 2020.

The Power are already bracing to lose another Sandringham Dragons product in free agent Karl Amon this off-season, with Hawthorn reported to be leading the race for the wingman's signature.
Amon is among a handful of senior Port Adelaide players yet to confirm their future beyond this year, with Travis Boak, Robbie Gray and Trent Dumont joining Amon as unrestricted free agents.
The Power confirmed the retirement of veteran forward Stephen Motlop earlier this week.
