The first NAB Challenge squads of 2016 for Hawthorn's clash with Carlton are in.

The Hawks host the Blues at Aurora Stadium in Launceston on Thursday at 7.10 AEDT.

Carlton's squad features nine new faces, including No.1 draft pick Jacob Weitering, as well as Charlie Curnow and Harry McKay.

Hawthorn will enter the match with 13 players from last year's premiership side, while former Demon Jack Fitzpatrick and third-year forward Zac Webster will make their first appearances for the club.

The squads will be reduced from 29 players to 26 on Thursday ahead of the match.
