Former Western Bulldogs and Richmond forward Nathan Brown has named the tip five kicks in the competition right now.

Speaking on Triple M's Rush Hour,ย Brown discussed how kicking in the game has gotten worse in recent years.

"Kicking in our game I don't think has improved for many, many years now," he said.

"I have put together what I think are the five best kicks in the competition right now."

Other players to feature on Brown's shortlist were Toby Greene, Shannon Hurn, Scott Pendlebury and Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti.

Here is Brown's top five kicks in the competition right now:

2. Dustin Martin

"Similar to Dustin Martin (at two). There is no better player in the competition to kick the ball inside 50. And in general play to put his teammates in a better position on angle kicks. It's all about being able to kick on angles through the corridor and beat the zone."
