Melbourne captain and AFL analyst Daisy Pearce has taken ownership of a new segment on SEN Breakfast, dishing out weekly votes to AFL coaches to determine the best performer throughout the season.
Collingwood coach Nathan Buckley has been crowned the AFL's best performing coach through the first four round of the season, according to Pearce's ranking system.
Buckley leads with four votes, with Gold Coast coach Stuart Dew, Essendon's John Worsfold, Port Adelaide's Ken Hinkley and Brisbane's Chris Fagan closely trailing with three votes.
Buckley polled one vote in the Pies' win over Carlton in round three, and was given the three votes by Pearce last week after guiding Collingwood to a big win over the Crows in Adelaide.
The scoring system is based around a coach's effectiveness in implementing game plans, tactical execution and selection.
Is the system flawed? Has she got it spot on? The answer is up for debate.
With the Magpies currently enjoying a two game winning streak after losing their first two, round five's ANZAC Day match against Essendon could prove to be very telling about where they stand this season.
Pearce's leaderboard through four rounds
4 - Nathan Buckley
3 - Stuart Dew, Chris Fagan, John Worsfold, Ken Hinkley
2 - Jaymie Graham, Luke Beveridge
