The Herald Sun's Sam Edmund believes Sydney will be in the hunt for ruckman at the end of the season.

Speaking on SEN Breakfast, Edmund says the Swans would like to bolster their big man stocks and provide support to Callum Sinclair.

“We’re hearing the Swans are chasing a ruckman to ease the load on Callum Sinclair so they’re canvassing their options,” Edmund said.

“So players like (Todd) Goldstein, who we hear about constantly, Sam Jacobs, Paddy Ryder, that’s a name that’s come up in recent weeks as well. They need big man support.”

It comes after Fox Sports' reported that St Kilda are preparing a $1.7 million bid for untried Bombers ruckman Sam Draper.

It appears that both clubs will be in active players in the 2019 trade period.
