North Melbourne defender Bailey Scott has penned a two-year extension on the eve of his 100th AFL game, locking himself away at Arden Street until the end of 2026.
Scott was taken as a father-son selection in 2018 with Pick 49 and has been a steadying ship in the past few years.
Noted as the club's best young player in 2020, the 24-year-old has earned podium finishes in the past two seasons as the Kangaroos look to rise off the bottom of the ladder.
As a result of his professionalism and commitment to North Melbourne, Scott was appointed to the leadership group for the first time and has repaid the faith, featuring in every game so far this season.

North Melbourne Head of Football Talent Brady Rawlings was stoked someone of Scott's calibre had pledged to the future of the club.
"We're rapt to have Bailey recommit to the club," Rawlings said.
"He not only plays an important role for us on-field but also off the field, driving high standards with his professionalism and dedication.
"We look forward to watching him take his game even further over the next two years."
Scott's father Robert (Shinboner No.841) played 113 games for the club from 1995-2000, including in the 1996 premiership.
Scott is the fourth AFL player to extend his time at Arden Street over the past month, joining Cam Zurhaar (signed on until 2029), Paul Curtis (2028) and Jackson Archer (2026), and is the 10th overall this year.
The Kangaroos will be looking to spoil the party in their final fortnight of the home and away season, facing finals contenders Western Bulldogs and Hawthorn.
