More first-round pick swaps are expected to move hands this off-season, with North Melbourne and Sydney hoping to shift their draft hands.

According to AFL Media, the Kangaroos are open to offers for Pick 3, looking to bring in a wave of fresh talent by landing two more top-10 picks.

North Melbourne currently holds the second and third draft selections after moving Jason Horne-Francis and Pick 1 in a four-club 'mega trade' on Monday.

Sydney have shared their interest in packaging Picks 14 and 17 to move up in the draft and appear as a potential suitor for North's high pick, however the Roos may be eyeing a stronger hand in return for their second best selection.

Both North Melbourne and Sydney could hold negotiations until after the trade deadline, with clubs able to plan trades between the trade period and the National Draft, which are confirmed as late as draft night.

Speaking to AFL.com.au, Swans recruiter Simon Dalrymple expressed his interest in packaging their first-rounders.

"In our mind we're keen on that," he said.

"(No takers) as yet but that's for others to do. We get more information after we get through the Combine and the next four weeks.

"Best player has always been our philosophy and if you get a bit cute with types you can tend to miss out.

"In the rookie draft we might have a look at list needs, but certainly with those two early ones it's about the best player."

One of this year's top talents would be a welcome addition to the Swans already young and talented list.
