North Melbourne president Sonja Hood has written an open letter to Kangaroos members, conceding that there is "frustration" at where the club sits heading into Round 16 of the season.
The Kangaroos are currently sitting on the bottom of the ladder with just one win prior to the pointy end of the season, with a meager percentage of just 52.2%.
Senior coach David Noble is under increasing pressure as the season continues, with the Kangaroos seemingly showing little improvement across the opening 15 rounds.
Now off the back of 12 consecutive defeats, Hood expressed her disappointment to members and sympathised with their frustration.
"When I wrote to members after round eight, I expressed frustration with our football performance to that point," Hood wrote.
"That frustration, shared across our club, has grown as the season has progressed.
"By round 15, with no discernible improvement, patience among our supporters and members is, understandably, wearing thin.
"We always knew this year would be hard, but the extent of our losses is deeply concerning."
Hood spoke on Geoff Walsh, who will spend a month at Arden Street to conduct a review into the club's football department as they linger at the bottom of the ladder, with findings set to be released to members.
"He'll bring 30 years of industry experience and will provide objectivity and deeper analysis of our operations while those in the football department go about completing their day-to-day roles," Hood wrote.
"In the meantime, we ask for your patience with the process, and support for our staff and players who are working as hard as they can to turn this around."
The Kangaroos face one of the toughest roadtrips in footy next, heading to GMHBA Stadium to take on the in-form Cats. After Geelong, their run home doesn't get any easier, set to face finals contenders Collingwood and Richmond after.
