North Melbourne have confirmed 11 jumper number changes for the 2024 season, with veteran Hugh Greenwood's move to the No.1 jumper among the changes.

After wearing the No.18 for the blue and white, Greenwood has moved lockers in a tribute to his late mother, Andree.

"When mum was diagnosed with terminal cancer, her life goal was to make every second count, and she started a fundraising campaign called 'Seconds Count'," Greenwood told NMFC Media.

"So the idea is whenever I come into work each day and see the No.1 in my locker, or whenever I pull the No.1 on, it reminds me to make every second count."

North Melbourne's 10 new recruits have also been handed their numbers for next year, with draftee Wil Dawson taking Greenwood's old number.

Top draft selection Colby McKercher will don the No.10 made vacant by Ben Cunnington's departure, while fourth overall pick Zane Duursma replaced the retired Jack Ziebell in the No.7.

Fellow first-round draftees Riley Hardeman (No.17) and Taylor Goad (No.22) have replaced Lachie Young and Todd Goldstein respectively.

Finnbar Maley will wear the No.39 following Flynn Perez's delisting at Arden Street.

Hardeman will be beside new Roos Zac Fisher, who made the move from Carlton and will now wear the No.16 jumper, while fellow trade inclusion Dylan Stephens is another locker over and will don the No.15.

Former Richmond tall Bigoa Nyuon has been handed the No.28 jumper to take ex-Roo Kayne Turner's old number, while Toby Pink will wear departed ruck Jacob Edwards' No.32 jumper.
