North Melbourne star Cam Zurhaar has turned his back on rivals and re-signed with the club for another five years.
Zurhaar, who was tabled an offer by the Kangaroos in March, put the club's fans at ease, locking himself at Arden Street until the end of 2029.
The 26-year-old has followed in the footsteps of teammates Nick Larkey, Harry Sheezel and Jy Simpkin in re-committing to the club, saying he looked forward to being a Roo for life.
โI love the club and I'm going to be wearing the blue and white for the rest of my life,โ Zurhaar said.
โAfter the bye, we've shown so much as a footy club and we're definitely going in the right direction.โ
"That is ******* huge!"

North Melbourne head of football talent Brady Rawlings said the club was excited to have another key player recommit to the club long-term.
โWe are absolutely rapt to have Cam sign on for another five years,โ Rawlings said.
โHis decision to join Jy Simpkin and Nick Larkey in turning his back on free agency and committing to the club long-term is a great show of confidence in our future.
โCam brings a lot of energy to the playing group and our fans, and we look forward to watching him continue to excite in the blue and white for several years to come.โ
Despite garnering interest from rival clubs including Sydney, Zurhaar will continue his career in the light blue and white, especially since seeing improvement from Round 11 onwards.
The crafty forward has been open that he'd make a decision based on the development of the Kangaroos and if finals were in their future.
Since the bye, the Kangaroos have put together impressive performances that suggest the club is heading in the right direction.
Zurhaar was taken as a rookie selection in 2016 and has kicked 160 goals across 117 games.
North Melbourne will now turn their attention to re-signing a host of other young talents, including Bailey Scott, Curtis Taylor, Jackson Archer and Will Phillips.
Speculation has also grown around star midfielder Luke Davies-Uniacke as to whether he'll continue his career beyond 2025 at another club, despite being contracted at the Kangaroos until then.
