Kangaroos forward Cam Zurhaar has added fuel to the fire of the Jason Horne-Francis move from North Melbourne with some not-so-subtle social media posts.

Zurhaar posted three sets of comments seemingly targeted at North's former No.1 draft pick.

On North Melbourne's announcement of the Horne-Francis mega deal on Instagram, Zurhaar commented "Elite 🔥", seemingly expressing his delight in the trade.

Zurhaar took more jabs at the 19-year-old on his Instagram cooking page, Bullscooking.

On Monday, the day of Horne-Francis' move to Port Adelaide, Zurhaar posted photos of his latest feast with the caption: "Lamb ribs, grilled chicken, elite salad, happy man for more than just this meal."

The North Melbourne forward also took to his Instagram story, promoting his Bulls Cooking tote bag with the discount code "Hornetgone".

He later reposted the store link with a new caption reading, "Discount code, if you know you know."

While Zurhaar recently signed a two-year extension with the Roos, Horne-Francis' controversial stay at Arden Street lasted just one year.

When quizzed on Zurhaar's posts, Horne-Francis told media he saw the funny side of it, but admitted he thought he and Zurhaar "had a decent relationship".

"I think it's a bit of fun and games," he said.

"Me and Cam, I thought we had a decent relationship."

The young midfielder's move has evidently left bad blood with Zurhaar, with a heated reunion set to come in next year's AFL season.
