North Melbourne midfielder George Wardlaw suffered a hamstring injury during Sunday's clash with Hawthorn at Marvel Stadium.
During the first half of Sunday's fixture, Wardlaw was assessed by the Kangaroos' medical staff before being permanently removed from the contest due to tightness.
Jack Ziebell, North's starting tactical substitute, entered the game in the first half.
