Norwood will regain a pair of key inclusions for their semi-final clash with Central District on Sunday, with Declan Hamilton and Jackson Callow set to return from injury.

Hamilton (ankle) and Callow (knee) both missed the last minor round match at Woodville, but have been passed fit to take on the Bulldogs.

Emerging key forward Finn Heard has been named on an extended bench as he attempts to return from an ankle injury that has kept him out of the side since Round 16.

Isaac Saywell has also been named on the extended bench and could be in line to play his first league game of the season after an impressive stint through the midfield in the reserves.

Ben Simpson has been dropped and will line up in Norwood's reserves clash with Sturt on Saturday morning.

Premiership hero Matt Panos will make his return from a long-term knee injury in the reserves clash, as will Connor McLean as he recovers from a groin injury that has kept him out since Round 13.

Meanwhile, the Bulldogs will welcome back Nick Lange from a hamstring complaint that kept him out of last week's win over Sturt.

Tough inside midfielder Mani Liddy and ruckman Harvey Howe have also been included on an extended bench.

Meanwhile, Glenelg sharpshooter Lachie Hosie is closing in on an unlikely return to senior footy after being named on an extended bench for the Tigers' battle with Sturt on Sunday.

The 2023 Jack Oatey Medallist had previously been ruled out for the season after sustaining a serious knee injury in Round 7 at Woodville but has made significant progress in his recovery.

Ruckman Will Stockman has also been included on the extended bench as Cam McGree continues to battle a niggling ankle injury, while Brad McCarthy has also been named after spending the past five weeks in the reserves.

The Double Blues have recalled tall forward Lachie Burrows after playing in the reserves last week, while Henry Carey will return from a calf injury that kept him out of last week's loss to the Bulldogs.

Young defender Charlie Fryer has also been named on the extended bench after spending the last two weeks in the reserves.
