Heralded Cats defender Tom Stewart is likely facing an MRO sanction for an incident during Thursday night's clash with Melbourne where he was seen shoving to the ground evidently-injured Demons midfielder Jack Viney, who was grabbing at his shoulder.
The incident drew vast criticism throughout the game, with many opposing Stewart's seemingly unsportsmanlike act.
Fox Footy's Jon Ralph reported on the incident on Thursday night, noting the likelihood that it would merely result in a fine for Stewart, who has faced MRO scrutiny previously.
"The push from Tom Stewart, when [Viney was] clearly injured, at worst Stewart would receive a $1,500 misconduct fine for what the AFL calls 'unnecessary and unreasonable contact' of Viney, [who was] clearly injured, clearly pushed to the ground," Ralph said.
"Not a great look, is it?"ย Fox Footy host Sarah Jones chimed in at the end.

Stewart was banned for four games last season after a reprehensible off-the-ball bump on Richmond midfielder Dion Prestia.
The other MRO-relevant incident to come out of Thursday night's contest was a Bayley Fritsch dangerous tackle committed on Cat Jake Kolodjashnij, with Michael Christian expected to examine that act closely before coming to a decision on Friday evening.
