The AFL have revealed Jordan De Goey will be required to make a $10,000 donation to the Salvation Army as his fine for an incident in New York.
De Goey was involved in a fight at a New York bar on October 30 last year, eventually pleading guilty to a single harrassement charge.
The charge, in the second degree, saw De Goey avoid both a prison sentence and fine, but was instead ordered to undergo anger management and alcohol therapy sessions.
The AFL have today released a state determining that De Goey has breached AFL rule 2.3 - engaging in conduct unbecoming.
The AFL's statement found that De Goey didn't instigate the altercation.

"The AFL determined that Jordan had breached AFL Rule 2.3 by engaging in conduct unbecoming," the statement read.
"While the AFL found that the altercation that Jordan became embroiled in was not instigated by him, he nevertheless weighed into it in an intoxicated state that led to him being ejected from the venue and ultimately subject to police action.
"Jordan has previously been issued a sanction by the Manhattan Criminal Court and the Collingwood Football Club has required him to commit to permanent part-time work with the Salvation Army.
"In recognition of Jordan’s ongoing involvement with the Salvation Army, as a result of his breach of the AFL Rules, he is required to make a $10,000 donation to that charitable organisation."
The statement also confirmed De Goey has accepted the sanctions.
Collingwood released a brief statement following the AFL's release, saying "the club considers the matter closed."
