Brisbane defender Noah Answerth has signed a new two-year deal with the Lions to remain with the club through to the end of the 2026 season.
The 24-year-old was due to see his deal with the Queensland club expire at the cessation of the current season, with both parties acting to extend their partnership.
In his sixth season with Brisbane, Answerth's new deal will see the Victorian add to his 61 career games beyond the 2024 season.
Speaking on the re-signing, Lions football boss Danny Daly said Answerth has earned an extension after a promising start to the season.

Answerth broke back into Chris Fagan's side in Round 2 against Fremantle and has played six games in 2024 following an interrupted past 18 months.
The half-back is averaging a career-high 15.83 disposals and 4.17 tackles per game this year to go with 2.00 rebound 50s and 4.17 marks each outing.
The backman is in line to face the Gold Coast Suns at the Gabba in Sunday's QClash, where Brisbane will look to return to winnings ways after losing their past two matches.
