Former St Kilda forward Aaron Siposs seized a rare opportunity to display his Aussie-rules ability as an NFL punter for the Philadelphia Eagles in a week 14 match against the New York Giants.
After a botched punt in his own end-zone, Siposs sensed the potential danger and followed up his own ball with a smooth one-handed scoop, before taking on the Giants' special team and nearly capitalising with a first down.
He was hit on the play and forced to leave the field with an ankle injury, but not before an apparently expletive-laden comment toward what seemed to be a crowd heckler.

The Eagles led 21-0 at the time and proceeded to blow out the Giants 48-22 with Jake Elliot and Nick Sirianni taking on the punting duties.
Siposs will be hoping for a quick return as the Eagles improve to 12-1 on the season and look ready-made for a potential super bowl run.
The 30-year-old Victorian made 28 AFL appearances for the Saints between 2011 and 2015 after being selected with the 75th pick of the 2010 draft.
