Port Adelaide co-captain Ollie Wines will miss his second straight game this week, a fractured thumb ruling out the gun midfielder for Saturday’s night clash with Greater Western Sydney.
"He was pretty eager to play this week, but the doctor said he was more chance of looking towards next week, so he definitely won't be out there on Saturday night," Power co-captain Tom Jonas told reporters on Wednesday.
On a more positive note, former skipper Travis Boak and small forward Sam Gray are still a chance to face the Giants this weekend despite not training on Wednesday.
Paddy Ryder is also set to make his return to the senior side after a long stint on the sidelines.
Port Adelaide will host the Giants at Adelaide Oval on Saturday as they aim to keep their season alive.
