Geelong's Brandan Parfitt is reportedly set to depart the Cattery in search of more AFL opportunities.
Parfitt has played 130 games for the Cats, including the 2022 premiership as a sub, but has struggled to cement his spot in the senior side across the past two seasons.
The 26-year-old has played 18 matches across 2023 and 2024, toiling away in the VFL for the majority of the years.
Herald Sun journalist Jon Ralph said on Fox Footy's Midweek Tackle that Parfitt is open to playing for a different team but admitted that no destination has made itself known.
โHe looked for a new home,โ Ralph said.
โMelbourne wants to bring in experienced midfielders; West Coast is open to free agents like him and Jack Graham.
โHe (is looking) for options right now ... He looked for a new home, (but) whether he finds one is another thing altogether.โ
Options for an experienced midfielder are common, with the Demons and Eagles looking to bolster their list.
Collingwood would be a club that'd entertain the idea, given their ageing profile, while Adelaide could look to bring in some class around the ball.
